Define Copyright and Public Domain.

Copyright is what gives an individual the opportunity to own their work and allow people to use it who will site it properly. When owning a website one must make a license as when that license expires then it becomes public domain and anyone can use it as they wish, it no longer stays the person’s property.

Explain how copyright laws in Canada effect what you can use in your assignments for this class.

It can affect our work by accessing limited amount of sites but no matter what site we use we have to give the reference and call it somebody Else work, not our own because we didn’t came up with this work on our own.

Explain what places some works in the public domain.

Some work is placed in public domain when the license expires and is not renewed, then it can be left open for people to use without any permission.
