Pre-production: This is the part where it gets decided on a movie being produced. The writer writes the play, actors and crewmembers are hired, salaries are decided and the imaginary movie starts to take its place in the reality. Everything from idea of production to the script writing and putting an outline for everything needed to be done can be put in a skeleton. This stage is just like making an outline before drawing a colored picture.
Production: This is the part where the most work takes place. The actors are reading for shoots and the crewmembers are also on roll. This stage involves everybody to work hard and it costs a lot. During this stage the video is shot and the props are used. It seems like a very fun part but it actually needs a lot more time to get done rather than another stage. It is very important to keep on task because if taken off topic it can be loss in time and money both. This is like buying the colors and deciding the colors for each part.
Post-production: This is the part where the technical crew have a lot to do, they edit the pictures to perfection and they put the singles shots and video clips together to make the picture complete. This is like coloring in the picture and finishing the final touches to it.
